Need Help!!
I'm unfamiliar with the Knoxville area although I've been here for about 3 yrs. attending school. I need an apartment and I'm torn between two complexes (because of such short notice, most places don't have any availablity). These two are Walker Springs apts(Walker Springs Rd). and Steeplechase (Central Ave. Pike). My dilemna, I took a tour of Steeplechase and liked them but I went to the website that rates apartments and they got slammed (leaks, roaches, and mold mainly). And during the tour, the lady who gave me the tour said they'll let you in as long as you meet the salary requirement :-( On the other hand, Walker Springs Apt., have good ratings but because currently no apartments are vacant, I wasn't able to take a tour and she said by the time an apartment is available, it'll be pre-leased. Can anyone help me? I guess my main concerns are safety and apartment upkeep.
