According to one of the organizers, a former UT women's softball player from four years ago and who is from Maryville, the team is still looking for and soliciting investors for this venture. Just venturing a guess, I don't personally think this will fly financially for very long. May be a good idea in certain areas and it might even make it in the short run in Maryville, but over the long haul (which might turn out to be a year or two) I just don't see this team surviving, unless they have very low overhead. Jmvho.
