Default Knoxville short term rental advice needed

We have recently purchased and furnished a home in Knoxville but cannot move in until mid-August. We were considering to rent it out on a short-term temporary basis to a family or corporate situation. Where would you locate temporary but responsible renters? Anyone out there have experience with this kind of situation? Is it worth the risk?

Try Bouldercrest Apartments on Wilson Road between Clinton Hwy & Pleasant Ridge Road. Well-maintained & short term leases available.

You might try using a rental managment company to handle it for you since you are out of town.

Plain Jane,
Sorry for my capricious reply...mutli-tasking isn't my forte'.
Good luck,
Bill

*** I would highly recommend against a leasing company as I strongly prefer to lease to folks in person. Best of luck!

There was somebody in the Knoxville forum not too long ago looking for a 6-week rental while her husband was doing some type of justice department thing? Does that ring a bell to anyone? I'll look for the thread......
