Default Dog parks in Knoxville?

We are considering relocating to the Knoxville area. Our dog enjoys his daily outing to our local dog park and so I was wondering how Knoxville is set for dog parks.

Thanks

Smile Dog Park

Thanks, Hiknapster! The village place sounds wonderful ...have you used it, or know someone who has/does? Probably also a nice way for us newbies to meet other animal lovers as well.

The Victor Ashe park is fairly unstructured comparatively.

My Vet (who's office is in Seymour) told me she learned about (and recommends) Bach's Rescue Remedy from the friendly folks at the PetSafe Village.....other dog parents, I mean......not, the staff. So, if a veterinarian takes her dogs there, it must be great (about an hour's drive from Seymour)

Post PetSafe Village Park/Kennel

For anyone interested, hubby and I went over to the PetSafe Village this(Sunday) afternoon. Very impressive facility! CLEAN, well ventilated kennels for the pets(dogs/cats). Especially like their "doggie camp" where the dogs (after they have been individually evaluated) have two sessions of supervised play-time with other dogs each day. You can do one day, or packages of days to be used in a 90 day period. Their dog park is wonderful! There were many dogs there this afternoon, all getting along and playing in the pond, waterfall, or large (1 acre) grounds. We talked to several of the folks there who bring their dogs regularly--all great reports. Offer several levels of service, from TV's in each kennel(I kid you not!) to simple kennels, according to your needs/preference. We are definitely going to bring our dog here and give it a try! Thanks so much, Hiknapster, for the tip!

You are all very welcome!

We don't have a dog. I wish we did, but we don't.

Thanks for the information! That's exactly what I was looking for...now I'm wondering if there is anything similar on the east side of Knoxville, or even the North side.

Just took Bailey to the PetSafe dog park again today. Was evaluated for day camp this last week (a little shy but fine w/the other dogs), then at day camp on Sat. The place is a few minutes off the Lovell Rd exit on I40 (the same exit to get into Turkey Creek, but the opposite direction on Lovell. We really like it. 'Course Bailey had a blast. Jumped in the (mid-size) pond, got all muddy & messy, but what the heck! He cleans up good. My intent about where the place is to say it's easy to get there n back. We came in from Oak Ridge & it's easy for us. Really nice place; we'll use it on a steady rate (the day care, overnight things, day camp, etc). The dog like it too.

Could you give me directions to Bach's Rescue Remedy? What city is it located in? I live in South Knoxville. I just adopted a Border Collie from a rescue. I am also looking for a vet.
