Hello I live in California in a very nice mobile home park. Nice trees, pool, walkable streets, great neighbors. we also have RV parking and on site managers that can be helpful or not. We pay 580 in space rent per month, that does not include any utilities. We feel super safe living here.

BUT we need more room as our 5 and 10 year olds need seperate bedrooms. With an impending move, we are thinking are there any nice mobile home parks we can live in in Knoxville?

The plan we have is to pay cash for a little house, pay space rent and when we are ready to buy a "regular" house. We have no garage but some houses here do. We just need a shed and a place where there are no drugees etc.

I know mobile home parks and residents get a bad rap but we have had nothing but fun and happy times living here. I have raised both my kids here. You get crazies and slightly off people like anywhere else no matter where you live.

We have rules that make it nice to live here like no more than 2 pets and a weight limit (for pets!) and no street parking after 10pm. We also are not allowed to rent out the houses which makes it nicer but harder too.

Any suggestions and please this is not a joke so don't start making fun of the post.

We are basically trying to sell this mobile, turn around and buy another until we want to pay for a mortgage...

Google "Clayton Estates Knoxville". A friend once lived there and he thought it was great. This was 7-8 years ago, not sure how it is now. It has trees, a clubhouse, swimming pool, etc.
