Default another Floridian to Maryville

Hi everyone! We are relocating to Maryville at the end of this month. My hubby has a job lined up in Knoxville. I'm not going to have the opportunity to go up to look first, so we are moving blind. I'm having a hard time finding sites that list available rentals. The only place I've had any success is in the newspapers classifieds. Any other suggestions on how I can find out the areas available rentals?

Thanks so much!!!

Go into any realty place in Maryville and they have a list of rentals. We just did and they have several pages full of listings. You can also contact them by phone and they will fax one to you.

Avoid Remax....they were not very helpful when we went in. I was working with a realtor trying to find land but my sister was looking for some place to rent so we went into Remax. My sister told the realtor (older lady) that I was working with another realtor searching for land and she jumped down her throat and said she shouldn't be bouncing around town engaging several realtors in her search for rental property....she even told her it was against the law, which is not true. Anyway, she tried to explain to her that even though we traveled together to Maryville, that did not mean that we wanted to use the same realtor as it would tie one person up with two tasks and we didn't have a whole lot of time....but she still got snooty so we didn't go back. She must have been from Florida

Hi and Welcome to Maryville. I live here and love it. What are you looking for in a rental house; how much do you want to spend? Do you want in the City of Maryville or will the area surrounding do? How many bedrooms/baths/etc. I just passed by several house for rent signs this evening in great areas. These don't stay on the market long and never get listed in the paper because people driving by snap them up. I agree with a Previous Poster about checking with Realtors. The main realty companies here are Coldwell Banker and Realty Executives. There is the assorted Century 21, Town & Country, etc. You can google them.

Kind regards.
