Thanks for clearing that up. I guess I should have noted in my post that

RL= Relative Humidity.

Like, ever notice early morning summer time hike in the mountains, it's kinda damp but still very comfortable ??

Actually, that post is an error. I've been very, very ill lately. I should have re-read it before and after I posted. I mean to say "dewpoint" is what does us in.

The first time we visited TN, we stayed in Chattanooga. It had the same temp and humidity as Fort Myers, FL for most of the ten days that we visited. The locals were complaining about the heat but we were thrilled that it was so darn cool up here.

Driving back, just south of Tampa it felt like we were hit by a wall of water. That's the dewpoint.

Sorry about that mistake and thanks for catching it!
