For my 19 yr old? We checked the news paper on line last night and NOTHING. She's 19 and will be starting Dona Ana CC in January. She's moving with me!!!

Not listed ha? We do all types of search and nothing. Thanx. I guess she'll just have to go job hopping from rest. to rest.

I think if she applies for a job at TRESCO, she might get hired! TRESCO is a service provider for special needs, among other things. They provide respite care, and it's been my experience that they do hire many young people (19, 20, etc.). Good luck!

No, they are often not listed. A lot of hiring here is local - signs in the window, that sort of thing. I saw that the major retailers are already taking applications for the holiday season - J.C. Penney and Kohl's particularly. She also might want to try Albertson's or Starbuck's - they both do virtually all of their hiring online, however, they'll probably want a local address to consider the application.

Thank you all, she will be calling Tresco and trying the online companies. We've been exactly a week today and it's been busy unpacking but I figure she now has the time as I started my job on Tuesday already.
