I have a Verizon family plan now. Our contracts ended, so we are shopping. Does anyone in Las Cruces use Straight Talk? How well does it work? I know I have been happy with Verizon here, but if I can cut costs without cutting service, I would be even happier.
I'm in Alamogordo and I use Straight Talk - have done so for several years.
I've been in NM since end of September - the only surprising place I didn't get a signal, strangely enough, was in Roswell. Don't know if was just a temporary aberration or what.
On occasion, if I'm out in the hinterlands of NM I'll lose a signal but that's usually short-lived as I pass through the area.
Ran into a ST user in Silver City last week and she's also been happy with it.
Thank you for your reply. I've been in Las Cruces for a couple months now. Moved here from the Midwest. It just sounds nice to be able to save money, but I really don't want to give up service. The other unfortunate part is that they don't have the Samsung Galaxy III, but I will keep looking into it. Thank you again!
I've decided to stay with Verizon. I heard too many problems with other carriers around here. Just waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S III to reduce in price.
