NMSU Arrowhead Research Park Set To Open In Feb
Everyone keeps talking about no High Tech in Las Cruces or depending on the Spaceport. Well NMSU brand new hHgh Tech Research Park's first building is set to open in feb 09 with more under construction soon in the 257 acre Research Park located between I-10 and I-25. Infact when fully developed it will employ 5,000 to 6,000 people in High Tech industries being recruited or spinning off from NMSU. It's also being run by former New Mexico Governor Gary Carruthers.
Glad to hear that SOUTHERN New Mexico is coming along

I've heard you can take a pill or something for projectile dysfunction...or something like that. Is that a faulty rocket?

Seriously... ...this is great news. That being said, it's going to take a long, long time to fill that park. The important thing for now is that it's there and a large building is being built and marketed. A first important step.

Anyone know if they're extending a lot of fiber optic infrastructure down that way?
It seems to be that would be a necessary part of a 'high-tech' park.
