Default New Irish Pub Opens In Las Cruces

For those of you who enjoy the Irish Pub scene there's a new one called Brigids Cross Irish Pub opening up at 1338 Picacho Drive between Valley Dr and Alameda Blvd which is close to downtown.

Turn on your volume to hear the Celtic Music .

That was quick. I drove by there three weekends ago just to snoop, and it didn't seem like it was close to being finished.

In any event, very good news. The only drawback that I see is that there is not proper signage to alert motorists. People familar with the area think the entrance to that development is strictly residential, when in fact there are some very small retail establishments attempting to take root there, with Brigids being one of the first. I hope they succeed, but if you ascribe to the location, location theory, they are going to have to offer up a very good product.

The website says it's at 1338 Picacho Hills Drive, which is in the new little shopping center at Picacho Hills.

My mistake and thanks for pointing that out domino. It's right next to the Picacho Hills Country Club on the far west side of the city off of West Picacho Ave.

Great - what fun...we just took our family to see the High Kings in Charleston SC- direct from Ireland and my son is now hooked on the Irish music. We will be there in 2 weeks time and will look out for it!

Good for you Oceankidz as i hope you have a great time in Las Cruces. If you get the Chance check out the old west town of Mesilla as it's the Taos of Southern New Mexico.
