Default Las Cruces

Spent some time there earlier this month and found it to be a really nice town, but I don't care for the lack of acres avail. to purchase or the fact that if there is acres avail. it's way over price and i'm coming from Calif. where everything is over price. I will be moving there is a few months and looking forward to the desert, and the little Rio Little (hahaha)

Hi,

We are spending the month of September in Elephant Butte,,, since it is centrally located in the area that we would like to find a place to retire, since Erie, PA is no place to retire in. lol

So you figure Las Cruces is overpriced? Probably. because of all the new things happening around there. Evidently you finally found a place to move to.

I think that globalization is making everything evenly expensive, sometime ago, there used to be inexpensive countries in Europe like Portugal and Spain, but not anymore; the same thing appears to be happening in the U.S.,
I recently bought a condo in Las Cruces but it was almost as expensive as those in downtown Chicago. Nevertheless I chose Las Cruces because of the warmer climate and the lighter traffic.
