Default moving from Texas to Las Cruces

Hi, my daughter and I are moving from Texas to Las Cruces June of 2009. I have family in Timberon but there are very few employment opportunities for my line of work in Timberon, I work for Section 8. I am hoping to get advice. I am hoping for a safe apartment community that would not be overly expensive, any suggestions?

There's lots of inexpensive in LC. Inexpensive and safe, shortens the list, but should be doable. You get what you pay for.

Because Las Cruces is such a dangerous place

You can find a nice house in Las Cruces at the price of apartments in other cities. Check the Ads and craigslist...
