Yes. And I called the Sheriff on Mr. Loud Mexican Music TWICE Sunday night. I still can't tell exactly which house although I can see all three or four of them from my place, so I described it by streets to the dispatcher. The dispatcher said the deputies would drive around with the windows open and locate the sound that way. She said there's not really an ordinance but the deputies will tell them to turn it down, and they'll forcibly shut down a party if they have to go back a second time.
After my first call to the sheriff's department, I'm guessing they showed up and told him to turn it down, because it stopped ABRUPTLY for about an hour. I say I'm guessing the deputies showed up, because the homes in this area are surrounded by trees and bushes, and it is possible for vehicles to pass on that road unseen.
Then, he decided to be defiant and turn it up LOUDER. I called the sheriff again. This time it stopped abruptly and I could hear him arguing with somebody. For the next couple of hours, he would try to turn it on (but a lot quieter!) and it would stop for several minutes before coming on quieter again. During this time I could hear someone arguing with somebody, and the sound finally stopped for good about 1 am.
I'm guessing the guy got two visits from sheriff's deputies, the second of which was a lot less friendly than the first, and the back-and-forth and arguing meant that his wife was probably the one turning it down and he was trying to be drunk and defiant. Evidently she finally won the argument.
The sound carries enough that I could hear quite a bit of this without ever seeing anybody.

Oh MY god I think we are neighbors!! I hear it, all night long. Mexican circus music!! Loud, then soft, then arguing, then off, then loud, then soft, then LOUD. I live out in Radium Springs, and it's unfortunately not always the same house. THere are three or four of them that seem to take turns. I can live with the many, MANY crowing roosters, and the many MANY barking dogs, and even the train doesn't bother me like the THUMP THUMP of the mexican circus. And are those ACCORDIANS???!!!! My doors and windows are shut, a/c on high, dishwasher going, and I still HEAR it! I have to call the sheriff several times a night on weekends--and several times the music has gone on until five or six in the morning. And for all you shmoes who think I'M the jerk, you really wouldn't believe it unless you heard it. It is LOUD! And it can carry for MILES! I have asked one of my neighbors to turn it down, several times, and he tells me with a big ol' smile, "Get used to it! If you don't like it, then move!" I had a neighbor "kid" (some loser/slacker living with mommy/daddy @ 24 yrs. old) riding his motorcycle through the arroyo behind my home...every Sunday morning at zero-dark-thirty. Called the Sheriff...sorry...no noise ordinance out here.
Two metal fence stakes and a strand of barbed wire, all painted Krylon "camouflage sand" took care of the problem.

The guy who used to own BigO Tires got killed by a piece of barb wire strung across an arroyo that like that. You have to put all kinds of warning signs or it will be considered homicide.
