Default Couple to Donate Estate to Museum of New Mexico

This is wonderful news for our city.

"LAS CRUCES - Internationally renowned artist Sallie Ritter and her husband, Dr. Kent Jacobs, a retired dermatologist, writer and longtime arts activist, announced Thursday that upon their deaths, their art collection and 6,750-square-foot adobe home south of Las Cruces will be donated to the Museum of New Mexico to become a branch museum known as the New Mexico Museum of Art Jacobs-Ritter Compound."

Wow..what a nice gift! This site, plus the wonderful Taylor family home on the Mesilla Plaza, will mean two new unique, high quality museum sites in the future. We should all be grateful for these family's generosity.
Mil Gracias!
