What the heck are you talking about...agenda? It's a GROCERY store....a small one, kind of a co-op. I've shopped there (not a member) and they have good quality stuff. What else do you need to know?
It's not infested with Commies, is it???

It's mountain View. and I don't know what "agenda" you're talking about. It's just a grocery store.

Since Mountain View Market is a coop, you must be getting that communist vibe! It's all part of a bigger conspiracy to bring capitalism crashing down.

I can tell you they are prohibitively expensive. We had to shop there 4 years ago when we thought our son was allergic to gluten. Two bags of groceries regularly cost us 60-70 bucks.

Ok so agenda was the wrong wrong word, Having raised hippie parents, and having been around living in tents community, bug and drug infested, free love, and being a child eating mushroomed made in to spaghetti, lack of parental direction as anything goes, watching people walk around naked, giving each other enemas parties yeah so yeah that lifestyle disgusted me,I grew to hate it despise it. ok so it just bugs me a little.....Sorry to have offended.
We do eat healthy, ( I do have them to thank for)just haven't found a good food health store here, I was just wondering if it had the hippie vibe and new age themed.....ok?
Go ahead laugh and make fun at my expense!

It may have that vibe, but it shouldn't affect the way the food tastes or turn you into a hippie, so you should be OK.

So.....you had a childhood. Did you turn out (other than being a little touchy) so bad? I don't think so.
Other than some Birkenstock-n-bib-overalls-wearing people buying organic free-range weeds, twigs and bark for dinner, I've never seen anything but nice, polite, clean and helpful people at Mountain View. It's not my main spot by any means, but I'm a semi-regular customer there when I'm in Mesilla.
It's pretty much safe to just walk in and take a look around and see for yourself...if the occasional whiff of patchouli and a numerously-pierced checkout person doesn't send you into an unpleasant flashback.
I'm not trying to "make fun" at your expense...just trying to lighten things up a bit.

The great thing about Mountain View Mkt is that you can become a member and then volunteer! You can work at the store or in the organic garden they have going.
The check out people can be a little scary to look at, but they are all very nice and helpful.
It sounds like you had quite a childhood. (Secretly gllad my parents were more conservative--once I saw my dad walk down the hallway after an early shower and that scared me enough!)
cheers!
