Default covering exterior of double wide?

Have old (1985) double wide - siding appears to be in need of painting at best. Wonky at worst. Animals burrowing in - at lower edges. Would like to cover siding with either this new "plastic-type" siding I found somewhere on the internet (you just nail it over th house I thinK?) or get it covered with "adobe" or stucco. Looking to #1. Keep critters out #2. Improve "looks" of doulbe wide #3. Hope New "finish" will provide more "insulation" form hot/cold $4. Hope new "finish" will drastically cut down on outside noise. (Have discovered double wides are "tin cans" - every sound inside/outside the trailer can be heard clearly! Yike!
NOt very "mechanically inclined", not very "do-it-yourselfer", and of course, in this economy "money is tight". Most interested in quality "work" that will "fix" noise/draftiness/invasion by critter issures.....ANYONE WITH DOUBLEWIDE (MANUFACTURED HOME) Experience? Tips/suggestions - All will be considered.....Sincerely, "in over my head". Las Cruces

Pull the siding. Install 1" of rigid foam over the top of the existing structure. Install your new siding. The Hardi siding or similar works well in our climate. Every window and door installation is different, so you will need to deal with this based on your trailer.

Best of all, there are free online resources from the product manufactures to walk you through the process. I saw it done once and it looked nice.

A good estimate would be $2,500 for materials and supplies based on a 32 x 60 trailer.
