That's pretty cool. I hope they get the team. They will have no affiliation with any major league team, but that can be a really good thing if you really enjoy good/fun baseball. The players will not be playing for the money. They get paid very little. Sure maybe a few will make it to the "Show" someday, but most will be playing for the love of game. The players at this level just love to play the game and it shows. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy it also.

This would be great news - if true! Whatever team they get, if its not affliated with a major league club - it will be hard to get support. The El Paso Diablos are not affiliated with any club and even though they have a nice stadium and a big city to support them, they are struggling to fill seats.
