I have a small, slow leak in my front yard I need to get fixed just after the water meter. Can anyone recommend a good plumber they have used.

Thanks!

I use Pronto. They are very reliable, work quickly and clean up after.

I had a leak from my water meter right after I moved in to my house - turned out the guy that came out from the city to turn on the water had damaged the pipes, so, the city had to send someone out to fix it - no charge.

Funny you should say that. I am convinced my leak started after they changed out the water meter to a newer model. But, I have no way to really proof it, just a gut feeling.

Thanks for the info!

Paul's Plumbing on Valley Dr. has done a couple of jobs for us since we moved here in November. Nice people, prompt service.

If you haven't yet talked to the water dept about the problem, and your suspicions about the leak coming from the new meter, you should do that. Let them prove it's not their problem before paying a plumber.

A leaking pipe can sometimes not show up right where the leak is but can travel a ways underground before coming to the surface, so it's not easy sometimes to pinpoint the exact location without excavating.
