Las Cruces Sub-Form???
With all the interest, and things happening in Las Cruces should a Las Cruces sub-form be created?

No need, not enough posts specific to Las Cruces. There is barely enough for ABQ IMHO

One is needed. There are tons of Las Cruces related questions...and with it a hot spot (literally) for growth and retirement, LC will be a hot topic of conversation more and more.

No. I don't want to see the New Mexico forum chopped up into sub-forums. I rarely remember to go to the Albuquerque section, and I will probably never go to a Las Cruces forum. I think that would hurt the site, as I come here to read about ALL of the state.
What's going to be next? A Santa Fe Forum? Alamogordo Forum? Deming Forum? Taos Forum? Farmington Forum? Where do we stop creating new forums?
Bad idea. Why mess with something that is becoming more and more successful and active every week, as this very good state forum is.
Just my opinion.

I think we should create a Santa Fe sub-forum so I don't have to read about that nasty place anymore.
Just kidding!
I agree with Towanda, I don't ever make it to the Alq forum either, I think things are fine just the way they are!

I guess the point is that LC might be cluttering up this board. I would think that if you would never visit the LC forum, then you prefer not to have all the LC postings cluttering up this board. I would also guess, that is why Albuquerque got its own forum. Personally, more sub-forums would be helpful to me so that I don't have to look thru a long list of items that may not interest me. Just my $0.02.

My $.02
Personally, I wouldn't mind a Las Cruces sub-forum, although that may be a little too specific. Like BrianH, I'm not sure an LC sub would draw enough activity.
However, it does seem that the vast majority of topics could be geographically grouped as follows: - North Central NM (Albuquerque/Rio Rancho/Santa Fe)
- Southern NM (Las Cruces/Deming/T or C/Silver City)
- NM General ("The Rest of the State")
I am not necessarily suggesting any forums/sub-forums be set up this way. Merely an observation.
