Default Mobile homes with acreage lots

What's with all the mobile homes on acre lots in Las Cruces? I'm finding properties like this for about $125K in the E. Mesa and South Valley of Las Cruces.

Here where I live in Morgan Hill, CA we have very exclusive new subdivisions being built in the city limits, but 10 minutes away there are older homes on acre lots which are being torn down and rebuilt with huge houses that cost 1M plus. It's quite a mix of old and new. If you wanted to buy an acre it would cost you BIG bucks these days.

Do you see the same thing happening to Las Cruses 5-10 years down the road?

Just wanted to get some feedback from all the great people on this forum :-)

Thanks

I think it is possible that Las Cruces could go up in prices as more people move there but one thing helps, the low cost of wages in NM makes it hard for it to up to where CA is because nobody would be buying all those high priced homes, they just couldn't afford it. Maybe retired people would but that is about it so the low wages may actually help NM home price wise.
