I am in escrow and in the middle of the paper-signing process. I just got a Beltway disclosure document to sign. If I read it correctly (it isn't very detailed), it shows that in 2013 there will be a build-out in the Centennial Hills area that would roughly take the path of Elkhorn Rd.

What's the latest on this?! My future home (if it all works out) is in the Lynbrook community. Is this something I should be concerned over?

Does anyone know the exact planning and when/if it will be a reality?

The Beltway framework is essentially done. What remains is to turn what are now just roads with stoplights at each future intersection into a regular freeway. This requires mostly building bridges. So the skeleton is there, nothing new will magically appear.

OK. But then why do they still pass around the beltway disclosure documents? And it sure looks different on this map on the document itself:
Or is that just the markings to show when the sections were/will be finished, not a new pathing? I kinda feel stupid but it's late so I blame that

I wouldn't panic. The rights of way for the beltway have been established, but there is always the odd possibility that growth may necessitate further expansion. This has happened quite often especially on the route between the spaghetti bowl and Summerlin Pkwy offramp on the 95.

I have known people who sold their homes to the county and received fair market value in the past, but who knows what the future holds.

Just weigh the odds and trust your gut if it concerns you.

Not to worry.

Once the Realtors get a disclosure they can't get rid of it. I have been bitching about that one for the last couple of years...but inertia takes it toll.

There is nothing new and nothing that will get anywhere near Lynbrook. What youse sees is what youse gets....

Don't worry about it...if they decide to build right through your living room, you get to collect a toll from the dining room (in one direction) and the kitchen in the other.

At least I'd have a good on-ramp for the commute
