mod interpose: yup, any further discussion on "speaking English" should be taken off this thread as it is off topic. Thanks. --'r[/quote]

Thank you.

Any updates?

I had my audition last Friday and haven't heard back as of today. I am wondering whether I can apply more than one position. I remember somebody in my group (audtion group) said he applied two or three positions. I just checked their website and see other possible match for me.
I hate waiting, waiting, waiting,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I got an email on Thursday:
"Thank you for giving us a chance to see you in action! We were impressed by your audition and would like to invite you back for a one-on-one conversation. During this meeting, you’ll have an opportunity to talk with a hiring manager and continue to explore your desire to join our team.
Please go to the “My Account” page on our website (CosmopolitanLasVegas.com/Careers) and schedule a time that works for you. This one-on-one conversation will be at the same place you had your audition (7180 Pollock Drive, Suite #100, Las Vegas, NV 89119). As always, feel free to call us at (702)314-3363 or (877)612-6766 if you have any questions."

I go in on Wednesday Sept 8.
I heard a lot of people applied for more than one position. Someone who went to the audition asked about it and was told that one audition covers all the positions you applied for. So it sounds like you can apply for more than one. Just don't delete your other applications unless you're not interested in it anymore. If you delete it, you can't apply for it again.
Good Luck

Thanks, Garyray,

When did you have your audition? Did it take more than one week to get an answer? I am getting really nervous. Good luck with your interview on Wednesday!

I had my audition on Monday August 23. It did take more than one week. I called the following Monday and was told everything was still good and to just be patient because they where behind.
Don't lose hope

Whoa!!! Didn’t mean to spark that type of conversation. My ONLY intention is mentioning the variety of languages spoken was merely to highlight that there was such a wonderfully diverse group of individuals in my interview group…and THAT paired with the vagueness of the interview made it difficult to predict what the HR recruiters were looking for. No political references were made or insinuated. With that being said***

I was called back for a second interview and hopefully that will go well. The initial job I applied for was put on hold and I was asked to interview for another position in the meantime. I was told that they are WAY behind in their hiring numbers and they only have about 25% of the people hired that they wanted to have hired at this point…being that they are so close to opening. I was also told that they are behind in getting back to candidates and that you should call them and inquire if there has been a status change to your application- as opposed to waiting for them to call. It also took longer than a week for them to contact me. I was on pins and needles also! LOL.
