Has anyone from out-of-state received a job offer yet?

Hey Guys!

Well I had my first "audition" on 9/22, which I really felt I had failed as I was a little thrown off by the group process. To my surpise they asked me for a 2nd which I had on 10/5 with the supervisor of the dept, I felt very confident in that "audition" and was told I would get a call by friday. Well she also stated she was interviewing 70 people in 3 days to fill 7 positions. Well as of today no call and no email so I guess I will wait it out and call on monday. On a better note I am also in the process of being hired by Aria as I had my interviews for both propertys on the same day. I am hoping for Cosmo because it is full time status and Aria is on call. But I am very thankful for finding a job so soon in this economy. My husband and I moved here in August and he is already working and I am hopefully on my way there soon! Best of luck to you all and thank you for the information.

I had my second interview on 09/30/10 with accounting hiring managers (actually two people). They couldn't tell me a definite date and just told me that they will finish hiring process before Thanksgiving (huh???). It has been a week for me, and I should start looking for other options.

Good luck!

Just got back from my 3rd interview, with a director for a butler position. He was very enthusiastic, I tried to match his enthusiasm. I had chatted with him during the virtual career fair, and he remembered parts of the chat, which impressed me due to the sheer volume of people he must have interacted with that day.

He said he would be interviewing for two weeks, and a response would come within that time. As the position was only posted online this morning (I had sniffed it out beforehand) I figured I wouldn't get an offer right away.

I came away more in love with the concept than ever before. All doubts I've had have been erased.

This is going to be a loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnng two weeks.

A little dog? No way, I would have like to see that. I went in at 1:30, was wearing a gray suit, black shirt and purple tie, seated near the door to the back office.

I was trying to figure why they had a picture of Justin Beiber in Aviators on the lobby wall...
