Has Anyone been hired as a gourmet server? Ive had two interviews, last being a month ago, and have heard nothing back yet bad or good. Just nothing;aside from me calling them and having the lady tell me I was still being considered. Seems odd they would wait this long....

Well I'm currently a cocktail server now on the strip, and I applied for cocktails at cosmopolitan.......how is that over qualified?

What is the general atmosphere in the hiring process? Are they keeping everyone on their toes and jumping, or is it more relaxed and personal?

also, uniform fitting was today... looks like they are going to attack the wynn, bellagio, etc.. trying to be 5 star??? dress pants, dress shirt, vest, and a tie! pants are black, white shirt, vest is grey in front, very dark purple in back.. looks nice if you ask me...

for your id forms, a laminated ss card does not work.. (can't find my original)... going back tomorrow with birth certificate..

saw a monitor when filling out my direct deposit info.. looks like the dept interviews are done or very close to it.. don't know if there are many openings left other than on call or part time...

will update as i hear anything..
How do you know that they test for quantities present for prescription drugs? Did they tell you that? Or compare you script?

I don't recall anything being said about cocktails when I typed the above reply. HOWEVER, it may be because the Beverage Service manager wishes to have TOTALLY entry level Servers so that he/she can train them to HIS/HER exact standards.

Hi everyone, I am new here but I have been checking all your posts for these past few days. This thread is very insightful. Anyways, I had my group audition last Saturday (Oct. 9), how long does it take for an applicant to recieve an invite for a second interview? The hardest part in applying is the waiting part...
Congratulations to all who got hired!!!
