the hiring manager said i should be hearing from HR within one week/7days or less for the 3rd and final interview with the managers who will make the final decision

will wait and see

good luck to all and congratulations!
I had my second interview with the Room Service manager (a lady, Veronica I think) in, umm...early September. It was about 30 minutes, lots of discussions about past jobs, expectations, etc with a few standard questions.

Since then, I've been more interested in a butler position and interviewed for that, but I've kept r/s open as an option.

Question...did you interview for a room service/buffet server? That wasn't an option when I went through, and I hope it isn't the plan to combine those positions. I interviewed for room service/hospitality server, which is much more desirable in my opinion.
