Just found this:

"The law states you’re not allowed to walk your dog on the Strip for safety and sanitary reasons."

It is not true. I walked a dog on the strip every day for 3 months or so. There are lots of cops so I would have been cited for it if it was illegal. I found this quote in the link which makes absolutely NO sense:

"The law states you’re not allowed to walk your dog on the Strip for safety and sanitary reasons. However, you can still take your dog for a walk on Las Vegas Boulevard."

It think what they mean...is that it is permissible to walk your dog on The Strip for unsafe and unsanitary reasons!

True or not, I have a leash-trained ferret (not a dog) and I'm going to do a test run one of these nights when it gets cooler but I'll start out at the Sahara and head south where there won't be so many people.

My ferret loves people (but not crowds), loves getting picked up by strangers and having his pix taken.

When I lived in Phoenix, I used to take one of my ferrets downtown at night and we'd walk all over downtown, no problem.
