I wonder what LV locals think of Steve Wynn. He always seems to have controversial stuff to say and Donald Trump has called him "disturbed". His latest tirade is about how China is a better place for business than the United States is.
On the other hand he runs a good operation and his resorts are really nice. So what do you think about Steve Wynn?

I worked personally for Steve for 5 years, my 2ndxwifewhatzername worked personlly for hinmm for most of the 17 years we were married....

He is NOT the easiest person to work for....and that is the ONLYbad thing you will EVER hear me say ....he is brilliant...a true visionary and the best thing that ever happened to a little one horse gamblin town...Las vegas as it appears today is the result of the things that Steve accomplished...

As to "The Donald" what can you expect from a BUST OUT casino Owner from Atlantic City....he and Steve have had a personal war since Stump or whatecer his name is told Steve that he didn't want him in Atlantic City.

Steve is a class act.....

I met him once and he seems to be a gentleman. I wish I could say I knew him because I'm sure he is an interesting person. There will always be controversy around wealthy, powerful individuals.

Actually most rich people prefer to keep a low profile and keep the head down. They don't like controversy and they don't like having their name in the paper unless it is for something good. When Forbes put out the billionaire list I saw many names on it I have never heard of. For all the Wynns, Buffets, Gates, Trumps and Bloombergs there are a dozen others I have never heard of. I assume all the people on it named Walton are Sam's kids. But who is Larry Ellison and Charles Koch? They are not on TV saying things.

All those people we've never heard of are probably the smartest ones of all.

For people like Mr. Wynn, popularity/notoriety are good things. Piques folks interest and makes them want to see for themselves and stay at his properties.

Charles and David Koch (pronuced Coke) own many businesses. They are private family company. They own Georgia Pacific, Stain Master carpet and many oil pipe lines and companies Dixie Cup industries and so on. Just Google some of the names and you will learn who they are and what they own.You may be suprised at who gives $$$ to certain politications and political parties. There is always a smoking gun in the backround.

I went to a seminar 20 years ago at The Mirage and Steve Wynn spoke. I was in awe of his intellect and the way he carried himself with such class. His casinos mirror him....classy.

As for the Donald....he's jealous of Steve.

I throw Donald Trump in with Babwa Wah-wah. The quicker they go away and retire the better. I think Babwa Wah-wah is afraid she'll croak if she doesn't tirelessly work all the time. Go away and golf and shop till your little hearts content you two.
