My first post, bear with me.
Wife and I are relocating to Sin City where I will take a position with the Veterans Administration as a respiratory therapist.
The question is, how hard will it be to rent a house, condo, apartment as we are in Chapter 13 and won't be discharged till 2015?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

That is between you and the rental company. You have to do the footwork and call around once you find an area you want to live in. Expect to pay more in deposits, first and last months rent, etc.

I moved up from Costa Rica with no credit. My score actually came back 0. I guess that is better than bad credit. I am slowlty trying to get credit. We had to pay 2 months advanced and 2 months deposit.

No apartment I looked at would rent to anyone currently involved in bankruptcy or in the past few years. You may have to lower your standards or offer a few months rent up front. Sorry for the bad news.

Some landlords require a cosignor so you may want to look into that as well. Besides payin additional
months in advance .
