I had made several posts of restaurants I recommended on the chat thread and it gave me a great idea for a new one. The Official Best of Las Vegas Thread. You can post anything in Vegas you think is the best, be it restaurants, stores, casinos, casino meal prices, car shops, car dealers, etc Any place that provides a good or service. I'll start

Ellis Island on Flamingo and Koval
A Prime Rib Dinner for $12.99 which was absolutely delicious! Comes with green beans, fries (baked or mashed potatoes are also an option) and a Hefschlager Beer (or Root Beer if you're under 21 )

Walking out of Fresh and Easy this afternoon with 2 prepared bacon and cheese filled hamburgers, two extra thick pork chops, 10 chicken drumsticks, and a bag of hamburger buns for less than 6$ was a best of shopping experience. I honestly felt like I had shoplifted. If you are lucky and hit that store at the right time it is amazing what you can get in the daily discount section.

Best parlay football odds= Poker Palace. I believe they go up to 900:1 for 10 for 10.

For any of you that dont understand, that means $2 can potentially win you $1800. The highest odds that I could find in the valley.

An even better one at Ellis Island IMHO ...

10 oz filet cut sirloin dinner for $6.95. Start with your choice of soup or salad, steak comes with garlic butter green beans & your choice of potato (mashed potatoes are awesome there). Top it off with one of their (included) 22 oz microbrews (or their own root beer) & you can't beat it. Be sure to get the steak medium-rare, they cook it just right when I'm there & it's sooo flavorful. Yeah, it's a kitschy little locals place, but the meal is fantastic. Oh, FYI it's not on the menu so you need to know to ask for the $6.95 steak dinner.

Oh, a different deal at Binion's downtown ... if you feel like Pizza & beer, get a large (16-inch) pizza & pitcher of beer (60 oz) for $10. The pizza was surprisingly good for such a cheap deal - it won't compete with Chicago deep dish, but it was certainly competent & the price is right.
