The package I want for Cox is around $200 monthly.

But we'll only be living there <7 months a year.

anyone know of special offers for vacation homes, gotta be a few in this city. Like with RV'ers who use there bus part time... I can't imagine they pay full price year round.

I guess I could pay the reconnection fee or go with something cheaper. Saw an ad for DISH at $10 a month. but I really want Cox's beast of a connection and HD channels. Any part timers wanna share what they do for tv around here?

I saw mention of a reconnection fee here and on Cox's website. So easy to get that waived I suppose. Sweet, can't wait!

Cox offers seasonal disconnects and from my understanding they now offer contracted services, for one year, and that they give superb discounts if you enroll.

If you read the fine print at the bottom of the FAQ, it says:

"Not available in California, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Roanoke VA, Las Vegas"
