We joke with our friends who live at the far North end of Centennial Hills that they live in Utah. It's a good 40 minutes from our house in Green Valley. Closer to California or Arizona than across town..

Be careful with all that. Convenience to the freeway probably has more to do with the time to the center city than anything else. Far north CH with good access to 95 can do the Spaghetti Bowl in less than 15 minutes. So 20 to downtown and 25 to Sahara. That is as good as Much of Henderson.

I live around 5 or 6 miles closer in than CH but I doubt the driving difference is 5 minutes to the north part of CH.

Henderson is privileged to the south end of the strip.

Both have traffic problems at rush hour. Both though have reasonable street routing around the trouble.

CH has little variability except how far from the freeway. Up the hill Henderson has a substantially worse problem getting to the freeway.

Somebody bumped an old thread. Davie is still in Orlando, from what I understand.

I love that area, but its just a tad too far out from everything in the city.

Were at Fort apache/sahara, and it feels perfect because CH is 15ish minute drive. And i can get to Town Square area in 15ish.

Boca Park/Whole Foods/Sahara Library. Everything I need. I wont be moving for a long time

Yep, great part of town. Try the food at Hedary's on Sahara. It's just east of you. Delicious.

It has the best views of the city, and the mountains, Im gonna miss those things along with...

The 6% grade on 215 between Summerlin Pkwy and Cheyenne, and going around Lone Mountain

The Ann and Decatur Smith's

Enjoying the peace and quiet away from the strip

The lower traffic volumes

The Centennial Hills Library

The views at the top of the hills in Summerlin, Lone Mountain Road, and 215

The convenience to the 95 Freeway

The newness of the NW

The view of Gass Peak at Sunset

The Target Greatland on Sky Pointe and Centennial Pkwy

Closeness to Floyd Lamb State Park

among so many others

I might be moving to the strip, but I will get back to the NW one day. I will miss it
It's not like your moving to another country. It's just a little farther than most parts of town from the strip.

Yeah, I guess Orlando is a little farther than most parts of town from the strip.
