My new roommate is 23 years old and moved here from Ohio. On the first day he went out to Fashion Show Mall looking for work. He got a job the same day he got a job selling sunglasses that paid minimum wage plus commission. He has been there a little over a month now, and he has never managed to make less than $13 an hour. If your friend is a go getter he will do just fine.

Airics, you just said it's next to impossible, but in another post your threatening a quit. Wouldn't that be potential turnover, in retail no less?

Get in at the right time and there's jobs. It's a game of numbers. I've been outta the game a while but nose down, plow forward, don't stop... I bet still works for many!

It will be difficult if they see your spelling. Take care to make a good resume and show up in person to every place you are applying.
