Aliante library is a smaller library. The bus system will drop someone off right in front of Nature discovery park and the library is a 2 minute walk from there.
Aliante is not far from the freeway system. the 215 beltway is part of that system and it runs right next to Aliante. You can also figure out which roads get you across town without having to take the loop all the way around, which takes longer, but is more scenic when going the Summerlin way.
The BEST library I have found is in Peccole Ranch/TheLakes. On Grand Canyon/W.Sahara. I only wish I would have used it more now that we have a small library here, but at least we have a library. I still find books I want to read.
I'll have to check out Centennial hills library sometime next time I am up that way. And that nice park I have only seen when driving by.

Anyone have an opinion on the single level townhomes on Mars Black Court?
They have 2 bedrooms listed for about $70K and the HOA dues looks like it is only $45 per month.
Are there additional community fees?

That is Dorrell Square. Nice tract in a super location. Well run HOA.

The 70K listings are all shorts. Expect something in the high 70s. There has not been a recent sale in there below 75K. Bank is listing one for $81K.

Still, even $78K plus $45 HOA (is there an outside HOA or supplemental CH taxes/fees too?) probably isn't much more monthly cost than $55K plus $165 HOA for a 1bedroom condo at Sky Pointe and it is 2 bedroom and 2 car garage and looks like not sharing common walls. Would only be giving up pool and fitness center.
Are these mostly investment properties? If so, then that would be the catch.

No catch. $45 is it. There has been a good bit of investor activity in there but it has a pretty good cadre of home owners.

I thought I saw something about some kind of supplemental fees beyond standard property tax for 10 years for people who buy in Centennial Hills, but it must have been somewhere else then.

SID/LIDs appear on a project basis. Find them in some places in Aliante and Centennial Hills and not in others.

Does anyone know the dividing lines between Aliante and Centennial Hills? Dorrell Square seems close to Aliante Station Casino, but I think it is supposed to be in Centennial Hills.

I think the boundary is a little more hazy as the Centennial Hills library/Centennial Hills YMCA/Centennial Hills Park are just east of the 95.
