Wok the Fok? No Chinese in my neighborhood either. Really bad chinese is the only thing there is and they don't deliver. Not that I would order the stuff anyway.

I do the same Sporty and Misty; go to the trouble of making it myself. I've been on the hunt for good Cantonese. Cantonese is the mildest, blandest form of Chinese cooking but it's what I'm accustomed to. Most people that try to pass their place off as Cantonese do nothing but bean sprouts with celery and a little meat. Mainly all I've been able to find is Sezchun, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Korean.

We had a great place back in Virginia, had hot Kung Pow, Peking Duck and Wings. Still trying to find a place like that here in Vegas.

Now for the laugh. The name of the place was Won Kok

When i worked in NJ we had two players that came every weekend.

They were father and son from Gnu Yawk.
Their names were
U. Phoq and his son U. Phoq II

looking them up in the computer was always good for a laugh

I just tried Chinese-a-go-go across from Aliante Station and I thought it was very good for being so low priced. It also was very busy, so it took 20 minutes to get a to go order with a few people in line at the counter and several people standing around waiting for their takeout orders, but at least it looks like are getting enough business to stay in business a long time.

How do the two compare?
