Mostly by chance and reluctantly we ordered Chinese takeout last night.

We ordered it turns out even though we did not know it from WOK for U. Or some such...on Tropical in Centennial.

It was goooooood...Not a little good...very very very good.

We just ordered their standard family thing and the Admiral carried on her normal campaign to get all the listed freebys and she reads the fine print and is very assertive.

It was really goood...

The main courses were Kung Pow Shrimp and Shrimp in Lobster Sauce.

Not terribly creative. But the belief was that it would be marginally edible.

The Kung Pow was...well Kung Pow. It had a real bite. First time I have tasted the chilis in the last five years in Las Vegas. Hot, properly cooked, and spiced right....Hell has frozen over..

And the Admiral swears the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce was better...And even I who does not normally eat that icky dish enjoyed it.

The won ton soup also was clear and tasty and quite nice.

Some of the other stuff was cooked a little much but still very tasty.

Anyway look it up and order...tonight or tomorrow night and tell them how nice it is to have properly spiced chinese. Don't let the rednecks get to them. We need them convinced their survival is based on their cooking skills. Hey we may even go for it tomorrow and alacarte.

Hope springs eternal. Now get out ther and eat those potstickers...

capt,

Did they offer any peking duck by chance? Still looking for a location that has what you listed including duck and wings.

Not Peeking Duck ...Pee king duck. But shouldn't that be Beijing Duck now? Or in Anglais, the southern (or is it northern?) capital.

Thanks old capt. Is it a dine in too? We were talking about getting some Chinese take away the other day. Cook on Wok is the closest, but my wife prefers Pick Up Stix. I'll check the Entertainment Book to see if they have a coupon.

Wings as in spicy, crispy, salt and pepper chicken wings?

I know a few places that have what you're looking for, but not in the NW if thats a requirement.

It was. That was our regular chinese takeout. But it was standard...edible but not very tasty.

It is now Wok For U or such.

You might try the old phone number. I think we ordered off the Wok In take out menu.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've taken to making my own just to get something higher quality than can be found most of the time in the valley.
