Absolutely not. The East Coast is greatly under-represented in topological enhancements.

"Cocktail matresses"? Is that the new PC term for hooker? Kind of like saying fruit fly, instead of *** hag.

A related question - do a lot of locals have skin problems due to the intense sun? I read an article that suggested Las Vegans have issues with pre-mature aging, but the author was obviously anti-vegas (article title was "10 things I hate most about vegas")

Any place in the SW has a problem with sun induced skin damage. We both visit with our dermatologist every six month to get the suspicious removed. He carries nitrogen dispensers like six guns and shoots you up for ten minutes or so each visit.

I agree that physical enhancement is very common here. For the normal reasons that the monied class does it and for the practical reason that physical beauty here is an asset that generates cash. So you maintain the asset.

The best looking women in the world and they do work at remaining that way as they age.

I think it's odd why people who take care of themselves and want to look good are labeled as vain. That link upthread used moisturizer purchases to give us a vanity number. Well call me vain then. I have been using anti-aging products since I was 12.

Really I think how you act and treat others should be a better calculator for vanity. If you obsess about your image then yes, call it vanity. If you are someone who does everything in the book to look good but you never hear about it and they are kind I don't see them being vain. We only have one life to live, why not do it looking good?
