our realtor, just searched for homes under 1000 that allowed pets, and there was still some good stuff that came up, its just a little smaller.

it took some time because we wanted a place with a yard, not just a unit with a balcony, but there were some places...

yea south Dakota is paradise to this crap hole. trust me I'm moving back to Wisconsin July 20th as a fellow Midwesterner your making a big mistake all these guys in here telling you how grate it is to live here there Realtors and love to sell you a home. lived her two years and cant wait to get out of here

Ignore poor old xfiles. Did not care for Las Vegas and is venting a bit on the way out. I would presume I am the Realtor xfile is pointing at...but I suggested you rent didn't I?

Reasonable houses start at around 250K....maybe even 225K. 1000sf 2 story 3 br 2 bath. small lots. Basically patio homes. Older homes with reasonable lots can be had for 250K. Got to be careful about the schools.

Thanks Buzz 123 Yes I have thought about the union,unfortunatley the area of S.D. I am in has no IBEW, in fact most of the state is merit shops. But the IBEW is a great organization if we move to Vegas I may explore that option.Is there a rep I could contact?
