Be careful WHAT company you work for because lots of them also do not allow entry level guards to accept tips.
The ads on Craigslist for club security a lot of times is for Marquee Nightclub.
They have an ad every week. There's a reason.
Avoid that place at all costs.

Shoot me another DM when you read this---maybe I can help.

Hello, Everyone

I have been living here for 8 months. I really wasn't looking for work, I just started applying for jobs (10 total) mid-october and I have had some great leads.Companies that I know that need help now are expedia, and if you want to work with the the temp agency look into Randstad(they have found me 2 different assignments). I think if you continue to apply during the holiday season you will find something. I was able to full time work with benefits within 2 weeks.
Good luck and don't give up.

I have had no issues getting interviews and I am out-of-state. I assume it just matters on your skill-set and/or persistence. I just landed a job in LV and they are paying more than my employer in Seattle

If you don't have juice in the casino, next to impossible. They always do interviews "to go through the motions"
