That's good news LLV, definitely needs to be open ASAP. Still in shock that Las Cafe went down as soon as it opened, but these things do happen in business.

Looking forward to checking it out once they get open.

Default Paving underway

I am happy to report that on the way out of LLV today @ noon I saw that paving is underway for the inbound lanes of LLV. Looked like one coat had been applied to about 1/8th of the roadway at this point... will let you know as progress continues.

@Montova: Let me know if you hear anything regarding the lake club lighting

Rebel Fan......

The issue seems to be with Southshore not Mantova. Some issue with CCRs. I was told that after being installed they have never been fired up. Something to do with "Blue Sky".
If anyone can shed some light on this issue please do....no pun intended.

Sounds like a mystery worth solving…. Blue sky.

Visited the master association today. Found out that the road improvements would only be from the entrance to the first roundabout. I was really hoping that the north loop would be worked on. They also mentioned that both courses are still owned by Carmel, but did confirm that some deal had been done to transfer ownership of the pump station which was in dispute to the master association. They mentioned that developers are spooling up to start to build houses up on the hill @ the falls. When I mentioned the disrepair of the falls golf course and particularly the sand traps they said that the falls was never annexed into the master association, so they have a very limited influence over how it is maintained.

@ Rebel, Thanks for stopping by the HOA office.

I think I reported in a prior post that the first phase of the road improvement would only be up to the first round about. There will be another phase that will take care of the upper loop and I think a phase that will add another roundabout for the new Galleria Parkway from LLV Parkway. I just put in a call to the city and left a message for updated information on the timelines for the other phases. He was on vacation the last time I called. I'll report what I find out.

The pumphouse was important to get resolved as those awesome phase 2 lots could not be built until the pumphouse was conveyed to the City of Henderson. I think the entrance road construction going on now, would also pave the way to the phase 2 main entrance road (up to those new lots) being completed. The views up there are amazing. I know I'm biased, but in my opinion, probably some of the best views in all of the SW US. On the east side of phase II-Falls you will have views of Lake Mead. I've contemplated a few times to sell my condo for a new house in Tremezzo, but I'm waiting for the Phase II-Falls lots.

The Casino Montelago Sports Book is opening on 9/1. I heard they are going to be serving up special St Louis type pizza, thin crust and cut in squares in the sport book/bar. The casino also just added electronic craps tables too. They have dinner specials all the time, which is keeping them busy.

Now, how about that grocery store?

"Monte Vista Blvd" I noticed on a Yahoo Map today that the portion of the upper loop of what I thought was called LLV Parkway, is now showing up on maps as Monte Vista Blvd. This is new. Makes me wonder if this is because the upcoming roadwork and MVB is part of the un-finished lanes.

Per the map, MVB runs from would be traffic circle near Tremezzo @ the Phase 3 road over to the entrance of "V". I wonder why just a short section of the road would be called that. Now that one road has 3 names... LLV Parkway, Montelago Blvd and Monte Vista Blvd.

Nice! So sick of that "New York-style" doughy crap that people try to pawn off as "pizza"....

BTW - the inbound lane to LLV is back open and paved. Not sure when they'll shut down the outbound lane.

Guys, will the outbound lane (currently dirt) by V, Villa Di Lago, and Casa Palermo North be paved in one of these phases?

@hard888. I have a call into the city for some information on that upper loop. Seems like as the curbs are already in, that it would be the easiest of all the projects?

That's awesome about the inbound lanes into llv being paved. How does it look? Curbs in too?
