There are a lot of conversations on this forum about apartments, condos, and housing developments in the Nellis area. I don't know that Heritage Estates specifically has been addressed, but conversations get very direct about what areas near Nellis people consider to be safe and which aren't. You'd do best to check down the list of Las Vegas C-D forum topics. The topic of newcomers working in your area has definitely appeared here many times recently.

Many places close to the VA hospital in 89031 look there. Easy access from the 215.

Is that the new VA hospital being built on the 215 beltway? If so, you can rent in Aliante or surrounding area's and have a straight shot just down the road a few miles.

That's a Las Vegas Zip, but how is that address not in NLV? Hmmmmmm.
Anyway, you don't want to live near the hospital unless you don't have transportation and have to walk to work. In that case buy two or three guns, and get a carry permit, plus a large mean dog. You don't want to be in that area at night. Daytime is depressing enough.
