If you can stand to listen to them that long without slitting your own throat.

My daughter buys their stuff all the time, but after two minutes, I can't stand to listen any more.

True! The desert certainly lends some authenticity to the celebration. And since I grew up in the south Pacific, a non-traditional Christmas is what I'm used to.

Yes. And the old Zeeland was/is Holland. NZ was discovered by the dutch -- hence new Zeeland.

I realized that must be it as soon as I hit submit. Guess I'd never thought about it before. I'm sure the Dutch spelling is Zeeland, but the world spells it Zealand. How do they spell it there?

When you celebrate Christmas there is it hot? It won't be here, but it probably won't be cold either. Just blah.
