There are a number in the Sun Cities but you have to be 55.

There are a few in reasonable spots for 1500 to 2000 per month and you may have to commit to two months. The few below 1500 would not be better than the Budget Suites.

I have had clients use that Budget Suite on Trop a year or so ago. They found it acceptable.

Just a thought on this.... You can more than likely find a short-term rental around the south and southwest areas of town (as I know quite a few of the units in our complex and the surrounding complexes are rented out; this is in the 89148 and 89113). However, if you are looking at renting a condo, a lot of HOA CCR's (etc.) will not allow you to rent (or, rather, not allow the "landlord" to rent to you) unless it's a 6 month minimum lease. At least that is the rules in our complex. Not sure if that's the general rule or not.

Again, just something to consider....

Dear DaveyJones,

You are exactly right about the HOA not allowing short-term rentals of less than 6 months. We are finding this out and although it is unfortunate for us, we do agree that it is a wonderful policy. We thought it would be easy to find a furnished short term rental with all the properties that are available right now but it has not been the case.

I think we may be looking at Extended Stay America!

This is the deal according to the HOA in my family's complex. I agree it is a good policy. I will also say, though (while I do not necessarily condone this) that people do not always follow that rule.

If you haven't already, take a look over on craigslist craigslist: las vegas classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

You will often times find some available short-term rentals, or sub-lets on there. In fact (I just looked) if you click on "sublets and temporary" you may find something that you are looking for under there.

Good Luck!

-D

Why thanks...it is not mentioned on their site. That makes the place ideal for anything but the lower end guy.

Looking for furnished 1 bedroom condo for rent near North Vista Hospital on E. Lake Mead in N. Vegas. Brother having a serious surgery will be in hospital for a while. I need a safe, clean, reasonably priced place to rent for a month. Any ideas? How safe is this part of town. The hospital suggested staying in one of the hotels on freemont st ,they said rooms were real cheap now. Please help. Thanks

I would think Freemont street would work. There is also Siegels who does furnished weeklies just north if 95 around LV Blvd. They also have a unit on Craig near the base.

If Freemont stay in the resort area. Don't go any further east then Neonopolis which is at LV Blvd.

Everything convenient to that hospital is togh. Freemont is OK in the resort corridor but gets tough real fast and bad as you go east.
