I would highly suggest to the above posters, the meridian off koval and flamingo.
They do short term rentals of a month or more, and some owners are still offering day by day at about 199/night.
You can get furnished, with utilities and it's right by the strip.
A few people you can rent from is either berkshire, Alex Wong, or a guy named Konstantino.
They have pretty good prices too !!!

Isn't there a lawsuit against the Meridian owners?
Also, isn't the Meridian in arrears to the company that owns the common driveway? I was considering a purchase there until I learned about a lawsuit against the HOA and an allegation that the Meridian was not zoned as a condo/hotel.

Different rules. A place that is a disaster to buy may be a wonderful short term rental.
The only problem with Meridian is it is too expensive for most.

They are both livable. Tend to have a construction kind of clientele and can be a little rough around the edges. I would avoid the one on Trop at 15 and the one on LV Blvd. They are a little too rough.
There is an Oakwood in Summerlin but that will start over $100 a night. Pretty well unconditional safe though.

I am writing from the Philippines. I will be coming into town soon I think to check out buying a Condo. I am retired, and Condos are cheaper there now than in the Philippines and Pattaya Thailand. but to the point, i found some hotels deals starting at just about $30.oo a night. I am thinking of just staying in a hotel for a month or two to see how i like Vegas. So maybe a Hotel deal now might be better than short term apartment. what you save can pay for meals and extras. Just a thought
