Does anyone know if these are officially classified as condos or townhouses?
I thought a place like this is automatically a townhouse if it doesn't have another unit above or below it, but maybe townhouse status is something that has to be legally approved. The 1 car garage that does with it is under this unit, but I can't tell if another housing unit is also under part of it.
I didn't see the community listed on the VA approved financing list (only High Noon at Boulder Ranch is listed), but the new rules are that "town homes and PUD" communities are automatically eligible for VA financing as opposed to condo communities that need review and specific approval.

I saw a listing of a 2005-built $79,000 2 bedroom unit on Knob Creek Street that appeared to have the layout of all living space together on one level over the 1 car garage, $80 HOA fee and under a mile walking distance to Montecito Town Center shopping and the Centennial Hills transit center.
Looked nice enough for the price.

I live in a High Noon community and my home was classified as a townhouse at closing with an FHA loan.

They are the same as the townhomes I live in. Built by D.R. Horton. They are in several locations around the valley. The smallest unit is all upstairs with stairs going up from the garage. The other two units are 2 story. Unit 3 is the biggest.
