how far from vistas/paseos (etc.) villages towards mountains builders planning to build ? will construction ever stop in that area ?

Need to see that map with a topo overlay. Parts of that such as west of Sun City are into the foothills. They may develop it...but no tracts in that kind of an environ.

You know, this is obviously arguable, but I hear tell most these "construction jobs" are excuses to keep the industry from totally crapping out in Vegas, because really theres not much to build anymore, since many properties are foreclosed/shut down. And of course, nevermind the road construction jobs which are neverending.

Looking at another topo of that area it is going to get real hairy above the 4000 foot line. Close to a 20% grade on the northern half.

Yup...and I am sure Summerlin has too. MacDonald's Highland only with a better strip and city view. But those lots are going to cost a fortune to carve and and get utilities in...
