But like you, I hope it never again gets out of control like it did from 1987 to 2007. Like you getting sick over them building right up to the mountains, the first time I saw what had happened in the north end of the Valley, especially around Tule Springs, it hit me in the gut so hard I nearly had to pull over.

And whoever that reporter is, when I buy my own TV station, I'd like to hire her. That's the way things should be reported: realistically, not that sensational negative crap you always hear. Of course, she's in danger of getting fired for not being negative enough.
Touche my friend.

Sadly, I DO know what you mean about Tule Springs, the place was almost magical to me, now look at it

Much more factual piece, IMO...and a good balance to the fluff of the first one. Good job.

No, but they are irrelevant to your argument. The reporter has access to the same pre and post recession statistics that you do, yet your position is that the reporter is unqualified to give her impression of Las Vegas because this was her first trip and she doesn't have any personal experience of what Las Vegas was like in the past. Yet that is completely analagous to what you do every day. You haven't been here in years yet you opine on the current state of life in Las Vegas.

Either you're both qualified to give your opinions or neither of you are. It's completely illogical to state that you are, but she's not.

You are interested in Las Vegas and the daily goings on here because you want to move here. JFK is not and does not.

Otherwise, you'd care less about it from a local's point of view as well.

BTW, you move here and you'll hear that New Yawk accent all over, lol!!!

I just trying to save my fellow NY'er the misery of moving all the way out there, only to find it's not what he expected.

Nobody is going to listen to your advice, especially since you don't and never have lived here. You ain't getting paid to "warn" people from moving here. You were never successful at it anyway, lol.
