Oh good, I thought I was lost I thought I finally had this NLV, LV thing down and when you said they weren't in NLV I thought I would have to go back to the drawing board

Default LV Crime

Look at it this way you could all live or move to Baltimore,
the 2nd most violent crime area in the US, as just annouced by the FBI

Las Vegas is like Mayberry compared to those places.

Default Metro police stats are lies

Metro police lies about the level of crime so tourists won't be scared off.
ReviewJournal.com - Business - STRUGGLING SECTOR: Outlook for housing: Gloomy and likely to worsen

There is a lot of crime in Vegas that is unreported. Metro police are as corrupt as the politicians around here.

its a 24-hour town and if parents want their children to be in a casino at that time of night, it is their decision, not some right-wing in the newspaper as long as the kid is with their parents...plus the curfew is ridiculous and to favor tourists over locals is stupid...the parents paid to stay at the hotel, if they are staying there, so there kid should be allowed to be there with their parents...

The kid could have been walking with family to the hotel elevators via the casino floor. The columnist didn't fact-check for that possibility.
