Look at it this way you could all live or move to Baltimore,
the 2nd most violent crime area in the US, as just annouced by the FBI

its a 24-hour town and if parents want their children to be in a casino at that time of night, it is their decision, not some right-wing in the newspaper as long as the kid is with their parents...plus the curfew is ridiculous and to favor tourists over locals is stupid...the parents paid to stay at the hotel, if they are staying there, so there kid should be allowed to be there with their parents...

The kid could have been walking with family to the hotel elevators via the casino floor. The columnist didn't fact-check for that possibility.
