Oh sorry about that. When I am taking the trash out I am not as careful as I should be...

And you apparently still write as a small child.

Sorry I should have read what I wrote...

JHiker, I asked you in a private message what in the h---was your problem? End of quote. Now I'm going to elaborate and say, I don't understand you. It doesn't seem like there is any way anyone can befriend you. If someone doesn't agree with you, you take nasty potshots at them. And then you turn into a complete oxymoron; in a heartbeat you go from prickly confrontational attacker to little juvenile kid with your he he he he. Not too long ago, you got your nose into the neighborhood in which I live and ended up attacking me just because you could not understand the concept I was trying to explain that I did not enjoying living in a neighborhood primarily made up of people many years older than me who spent hours napping while I'm still in the dancing on tables mode. Now you're all bent out of shape and being ugly to Olecapt over a childish matter of opinion on the seaminess of a particular neighborhood a recommended restaurant is located in. In the big picture of life and getting along, is all of this worth this over these little things?

I'm curious...why do you waste your time here? Unless insulting people and embarrassing them is something that satisfies some deep dark need?

Firm--

After following this thread I am sorry to hear your date backed out at the last minute! However, this parallels my own experience in Las Vegas, with women friends as well as men. Lots of folks I encounter seem to be flaky this way. Definite plans end up not materializing when the chosen day arrives. I've started thinking of several acquaintances as "repeat offenders." When it gets really bad (multiple offenses) I delete 'em from my phonebook. It is very frustrating at times though. So I understand your disappointment. I wonder if it's something endemic to Las Vegas; it certainly doesn't happen nearly as much when I am back East (I spend about half my time in NYC). I'd say give her one more chance, perhaps two, and if she keeps backing out....next!

First date is for coffee or if you do go to a restaurant make sure you eat something before you go and let her run her mouth. If she doesn't cook no second date. If she doesn't like sports, no second date. If she likes more porn than you, no second date. Now the clincher. If she ask where you work, how much you make and what car your drive go to the bath room and never come back. Just leave the waiter about $25.00 to cover her meal.

If a woman is interested in a man she will pursue him. If a woman stands you up forget about her and move on. Next..When dating always remember this. Women have a short shelf life. The older they get the more they tend to disappear. I'm not attacking women.

In the early years men are at a disadvantage when it comes to dating. Most women are firm and in high demand but as the years go by it's men who start to get the advantage. The older women have to compete with the younger women. Women will date and old man but most men will not date an old woman. Forget all that cougar stuff. A man at any age if he has money can date down to 18 but a old woman with all the money in the world is still going to have a tough time getting a man to service her.
