Default Are there any good Christmas decorated houses in Las Vegas?

Hi folks,
Since this is our first Christmas in Las Vegas, I was wondering if there any individual houses that go all out with Christmas decorations and lights? If there are any, where are they?
My wife and I like to drive around and see some great displays.

We have already visited Ethel M's Christmas display and enjoyed and we will go to the Christmas drive through at the Speedway later on this month.

We really like the ones that have synchronized it to music.

I know of three houses in a row on Buffalo Drive and Sahara, east side of the street, heading north on Buffalo, just past W. Sahara.

Extreme lights and decor.

Olecapt is correct, keep checking the paper, they usually list the extreme decor homes in there.

I remember when the kids were little, we used to pack them in the car with blankets and hot chocolate and ride around to see the decorations and lights on the homes.

Las Vegas wasn't a big place back then and most of the homes were on the East Side of the Strip, I wouldn't know where to start if I wanted to do it now, lol.

Usually find lots of them north of Charleston between Rainbow and Buffalo.

You should take the kiddies to Opportunity Village Magical Forest too. The Wayner might not be there though.

That's the Gift of Lights that used to be at Sunset Park. I was wondering why I haven't been able to see the lights the last few weeks when landing at McCarran at night.

Longtime holiday display moving from Sunset Park to speedway - Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010 | 11:47 a.m. - Las Vegas Sun

My wife and I came upon that display by surprise a few nights ago as we were driving to Trader Joe's and got a kick out of it. Especially the flashing "Bah Humbug" sign, lol. Due to the lack of traffic on Buffalo that night we were able to slow to a crawl on our way back home and got even a better look the second time.

On a related matter, a few houses on our street are very nicely decorated. We even got into the act this year and hired a firm to professionally install the lights on our house and palm & pine trees. Although nothing extreme, they did a very nice job with white lights going up the trunks of the trees and then green lights throughout the branches. Unfortunately, only people within our development can see them them because we live in a gated community.

But do they have other things to do for littler children? We have not been, so we were thinking of taking our daughter.

Anyone remember the lights display of the houses on, I think it was, Hondo Court or Hondo Circle? I remember at least 10 years ago going to see the homes there and how the neighbors really did out-do each other with the lights.
